RECENT COMMERCIAL ART PROJECTS

We have been engaging in some pretty great street/public art projects of late! Just this last weekend we collaborated with Brisbane Riverview Hotel to bring Californian artist Elise Lee to Brisbane. The cutting edge hotel commissioned the moving painting 'The Melody of Coexistence' specifically for the event. The animated artwork exploded like the Big Bang onto the surface of the hotel, expanding and disappearing in explosions of color and form. Like time, the artwork never repeated itself; relentlessly regenerating in new expanses & combinations of form and color. Artist Elise Lee strives to mediate between the personal experiences of joy and happiness, from the real to the unreal, remaining open to the perpetual re-assignment of either state. The circular shape of bright colors and playful movements are an invitation to party in the artist’s personal vocabulary. The repetition of singular shapes creates a visual complexity, while continuously adding layers of color and shape to ultimately create a harmony akin to music. Greg Henderson documented the event for us and produced these stunning images! _DH_2275   IMG_1020   _DH_2286
For the James Street RESORT event, we collaborated with James Street and artist Briony Barr to create a RESORT themed artwork to light up the facade of the Scanlan Theodore store on James St. The kitsch artwork focused on the growth patterns of crystal trees. Never one to take life or art two seriously, Barr's animated installation lit up the street and provided a beautiful focal point for the Up Late shoppers! photo 2 copy

What's Happening @ TWFA in December

VIEW HOTEL PROJECTION TWFINEART has collaborated with artist Elise Lee and VIEW HOTEL to bring Brisbane into the cultural limelight.  The state of the art project will transform the exterior of the Brisbane Riverview Hotel, facing Kingsford Smith Drive, for the nights of Friday 5th December and Saturday 6th December 2014, into a beacon of dynamic light, illuminating the facade with a moving artwork that would capture the attention of any person driving or walking by the hotel.  Lee’s work is a derivative of Pop Art and draws inspiration from artists like Takashi Murakami to create bright, oscillating, stylized shapes that dance across surfaces, emerging and disappearing in explosions of color and form. Installation Images from our Portfolio

We recently fitted out Como's display apartment with a selection of limited edition prints from our collection. Como is a residential development by Cavcorp, a local company striving to bring quality living, architectural design and all things chic to the Brisbane residential community. With a focus on cutting edge design, Cavcorp approached us to curate a selection of limited edition prints to decorate the apartment. Now open in Newstead, we are thrilled to be able to release a few interior shots that highlight the collection of artwork included: We will work with you one on one to curate the perfect selection of work for your space, sizing and positioning the artwork in a fashion that will make your place look a million dollars without breaking the bank.   [caption id="attachment_12395" align="aligncenter" width="800"]Living Room - Image by Joe Brosnan Living Room - Prints by Chris Trueman/Image by Joe Brosnan[/caption] [caption id="attachment_12397" align="aligncenter" width="800"]Guest Room - Prints by Rachel Ritchford/Image by Joe Brosnan Guest Room - Prints by Rachel Ritchford/Image by Joe Brosnan[/caption] [caption id="attachment_12398" align="aligncenter" width="800"]Bathroom - Print by Steve Gibson/Image by Joe Brosnan Bathroom - Print by Steve Gibson/Image by Joe Brosnan[/caption] [caption id="attachment_12401" align="aligncenter" width="453"]Kitchen - Print by Abby Goldstein/Image by Joe Brosnan. Events in BrisbaneThe main chemical involved in this transformation will be diagramed and mapped out on the mall pavement and from each molecular point a team member will work with mall goers to create large scale bubbles from the chemical solution.

We will photograph and document the event then upload the photos to the www.twfineart.com website blog, so people can log on and see the photographic results of their bubble making experience. LIKE us on FACEBOOK we will email you a copy of your photo.
